Kamala has the solid policy chops of a bowl of jello and is throwing out stuff that might sound good. Like borrowing Trump’s tax plan and then also proposing to stop inflation through price controls. A signature policy of every failed state from Nazi Germany to Venezuela. Some Dems are sufficiently in touch with reality to know that’s absolutely nuts and so they’re assuring everyone, especially donors, that she doesn’t really mean it.
Under pressure to defend Kamala Harris’ grocery price gouging plan, some Democratic lawmakers are delivering a quiet message to anxious allies: Don’t worry about the details. It’s never going to pass Congress.
The Harris campaign’s proposal, unveiled as part of her first big economic policy speech, has become a focal point for her presidential rival, Donald Trump, and fellow Republicans, who claim she’s pushing “communist price controls.” It has also alarmed food industry officials and even some left-of-center economists, who’ve warned such policies can hurt more than they help.
That backlash has tempered Harris allies’ initial push to paint the proposal as a bold, progressive idea. Since introducing the price gouging plan, her advisers have sought to soften criticism of the proposal by downplaying its overall impact on the market — and emphasizing that the goal is simply to target a small cohort of potential “bad actors,” rather than generate the kind of sweeping overhaul suggested by the plan’s initial rollout.
This resembles the defense of Kamala’s proposal to ban health insurance during the 2020 race.
Sure, it’s a terrible socialist idea, but she doesn’t really mean it. And who knows whether she does or doesn’t. Kamala has no executive experience, a history of flip-flopping and saying stuff because she thinks it’ll be popular. So she may indeed adopt the economic policies of the USSR and Nazi Germany. Or not.
In any case, her allies are telling everyone not to pay attention to what she actually says, which is a hell of a vote of confidence. Either voters are told not to pay attention to Kamala’s proposed policies or Tim Walz’s lies.
And that can’t end well.
Of course it’ll pass congress…The Harris (Kremlin) proletariat will send their Luca Brasi enforcers to make those congresscritters an offer they can’t refuse.

I’m pretty sure being Vice President of the United States for four years counts as having “executive experience.” You want to throw baseless insult at people, whatever. But when they are so transparently false, you look like an even bigger clown than usual.
How does occupying a political office make someone an “executive?” How does it impart any managerial skill?
