The only reason Kamala failed upward into a failed presidential bid was a series of lucky breaks based on her political relationships in California and her checking some identity politics boxes. Her campaign was a mess that wasted insane amounts of money only to suffer one of the most catastrophic defeats in recent history.
And yet Dems don’t seem done with her.
Early polling suggests Democrats want to see Harris back in the running for the Oval Office in 2028, despite her defeat this cycle. But some in the party speculate the vice president could seek another office — for starters, the governor’s mansion in California — or pursue avenues outside electoral politics to help bolster the resistance against a second Trump term.
“She still has a long career ahead of her,” said Democratic strategist Kate Maeder. “She’s young for politics in this country, and I think that folks are really excited to see what she does next, because she’s built such a powerful following around her, and I think that that will carry through after the election.”
A poll from the UC Berkeley Institute of Governmental Studies and the Los Angeles Times this month found nearly half of California voters would be likely to support her if she were to enter the 2026 gubernatorial race.
“If she decided she wanted to run for president in 2028, she would start out as a favorite,” said Jim Kessler, a co-founder of the left-center think tank Third Way. “I don’t think a prohibitive favorite, but definitely someone who would start out on top, would be able to raise money, is known by voters, and who acquitted herself very well in her short campaign against Trump.
I don’t get it. Is Kamala supposed to be some great political talent who needs to be allowed to waste more money instead of sending her to the showers?
Or is she still being coddled the way she was for her entire political career?
She might Aline herself with some worth-while causes (The American people and seniors & education). . With her as governor, California, which I used to love, will slide ever deeper into the woke toilet. So, what will be the campaign slogan after her governorship–“Make America San Francisco”? That should fly.

Admittedly no fan of Kamala, nonetheless I felt she was indeed a weak candidate. She could not articulate a clear stance on any issue. Nonetheless, to democrats she met important criteria by demonstrating (1) complete party loyalty, (2) pro-abortion, (3) in favor of porous and open borders, and (4) extreme trans- rights.
And she was black–sort of.
The lie that she has a great following is ridiculous. She had to pay for a smile and nod from celebrities, 2.5 million! She had to tag onto concerts and bus in audiences (cell phones were analyzed that suggests the attendees were all bussed in).
I do think that when you ask questions of Democrats with TDS and low info and low intellect, they will say or endorse any familiar name.
If you ask a Democrat ‘man in the street’ any question about civics, history, or other general information, they will say the name of a celebrity or what they had for lunch, Thats all they know.
If she is required to participate in an actual primary, there is little hope for a political resurrection. Especially now that everyone knows what a corrupt lightweight she is….

I hope Brian Dahle runs again. Farmers and Californians who live in the Central Valley need better representation; and, if there are public debates, not moderated by the vicious thugs at PBS. Newsom proved what an empty-suit idiot he truly is in a PBS debate with Dahle during the latest gubernatorial race, but was bailed out by Scott Shafer and Marisa Lagos. It was frustrating to watch.
