No sooner was Trump shot than lefty influencers embraced a conspiracy theory known as ‘ear trutherism’ which was that he wasn’t actually shot, that the bandage was fake, or in a somewhat moderate version of this conspiracy theory, that his ear was hit by shards from the teleprompter and not the bullet.
As it usually works, the theory took a few days to percolate through the media which played its ‘just asking questions’ game.
And then apparently on to the FBI.
When there were reports that the media wanted to interview Trump, I asked a basic question.
Interviewing the victim of a crime makes sense in a case where there is to be a trial or the victim knew the perpetrator and could shed some light on his motives.
The man who tried to assassinate Trump is dead. Trump never knew him. Why the FBI chat?
According to the New York Times, it turns out that the agenda was indeed ‘Ear Trutherism’.
The F.B.I. is examining numerous metal fragments found near the stage at a campaign rally in Butler, Pa., to determine whether an assassin’s bullet — or potential debris — grazed former President Donald J. Trump’s head, bloodying his ear, according to the F.B.I. and a federal law enforcement official.
The bureau has asked to interview Mr. Trump as part of its broader investigation, hoping to provide insights into the shooting and possibly a more complete record of his injury, the official said, speaking on the condition of anonymity to discuss the continuing inquiry.
Unanswered questions about the object that struck the Republican nominee for president have lingered since the shooting on July 13, with Mr. Trump claiming that he was struck by a bullet — and casting his survival as an act of divine intervention.
F.B.I. officials have been more circumspect, citing the need to analyze the evidence before determining what struck Mr. Trump — a bullet, metal shard or something else.
To once again ask the obvious question, what is the actual point of the investigation?
Trump was shot. We know who did it. He’s dead. The FBI has released zero information about a motive and is instead wasting taxpayer money on something that has nothing to do with any criminal investigation.
After the backlash against Director Wray’s comments, the FBI has released a statement disavowing Ear Trutherism by saying Trump was hit by a bullet or a fragment of a bullet, but it’s clear FBI personnel were working on a pointless fishing expedition.
Elements of the FBI have spent far too long running down ‘leads’ which are really conspiracy theories provided by the media and the establishment.
It didn’t make Trump Deaf in the Ear but the Demon-Rats are still deaf to the American People as their still seeing and hearing all those Illegal Aliens and those Votes for Demon-Rats
We all know the FBI is a corrupt arm of the Dirtbagocrat party.
They have gotten used to running the government and like it.
Why do you expect any actions to undermine their position?

I am increasingly reading about the “preference cascade.” A preference cascade occurs when a widely-held false public narrative maintained by public pressure suddenly collapses under the weight of truth.
I think the ear trutherism is a desperate attempt to maintain a larger preference falsification that Donald Trump is Hitler. Doug Wilson wrote about this three years ago, very prophetically. These cascades can be very dangerous.

The FBI is not investigating the attempted assassination of DJT because they already know what happened. Their job now is to plant DNC talking points in the media to control the news cycle and participate in the cover up. They aren’t even hiding the fact that they’re involved.
