Los Angeles ‘elected’ Rep. Karen Bass as its mayor. And parts of LA burned down. Now Oakland did the same thing with Rep. Barbara Lee.
Good things are sure to follow from electing a Communist member of California’s congressional delegation.
Lee is worse in every way than Bass. Her Communism is even more overt.
As the Discover the Networks profile shows Rep. Lee, now mayor-elect, responded to Castro’s death with comments such as…
“We need to stop and pause and mourn his loss.”
“I was very sad for the Cuban people.”
“He led a revolution in Cuba that led social improvements for his people.”
“He wanted normal relations with the United States but not at the expense of the accomplishments of the revolution.”
Rep. Salazar, the daughter of Cuban refugees, stated that, “Barbara Lee is a communist sympathizer who was a personal friend to Fidel Castro, has visited Cuba 21 times, and has been a mouthpiece for the Cuban Regime since 1977.”
And then there’s the Black Panther stuff…
“Lee worked on the Oakland mayoral campaign of Panther co-founder Bobby Seale and served as a confidential aide to the organization’s “minister of defense,” Huey Newton. (Panther members at the time referred to Lee as “Comrade Barbara.”) After Newton fled to Cuba in the mid-1970s to evade murder, assault, and tax-evasion charges, Lee she twice visited him there. Decades later, in her 2009 book Renegade for Peace & Justice, Lee fondly recalled her affiliation with the Panthers. “Despite his roughness, my mother really liked him,” Lee wrote of Newton. And regarding Seale, she wrote: “When I first met him, he impressed me as being very nice—a leader always willing to give positive feedback to me and the other ‘comrades’ in the party. I was known as ‘Comrade Barbara’ at the time. “
So now Comrade Barbara is in charge of Oakland.
Who is voting in California? What is wrong with them?

Isn’t it obvious? Morons. Democrat morons to be specific. Moreover, they’ll keep voting that way until they turn their cities into a crime ridden food desert with little to no city services rendering those cities “badlands” where if you go, you’re on your own. Don’t call the police, don’t call the fire department and don’t call for help because it isn’t coming.
The people in those sh*tholes got what they voted for. They voted to turn their cities into sh*tholes via free and fair elections. Why should anyone care? For those of us who don’t live in those cities, who or what the majority of people in those cities voted for is really none of our business. Chill out, grab a bag of popcorn, sit back and enjoy the burn.
It was a ranked choice election. One time they had to go through 14 rounds until finally in the last round the only candidate left was the Chinese cat lady, who became the new mayor.
It’s all vote fraud, my friend. No way do we vote for these scumbags.
Someone could do a dissertation on vote fraud via ranked choice elections. Until then I’ve been thinking about it. I think it favors candidates with a narrow but committed constituency over candidates with wider but shallower support. Oakland has a lot of Chinese voters, I figure that’s why the crazy Chinese cat lady wasn’t eliminated in the earlier rounds.
Is this dumbbitch Lee aware that Che didn’t like black people? He had been very vocal about it.
(If so, the idiot just shelves that contradiction like democrats conveniently did when former KKK member Robert Byrd was senator.)
Che didn’t go down fighting. He tossed his rifle, and said “Don’t kill me. I’m more valuable alive!”.

If I recall, wasn’t she Ron Dellums’ staffer who went down to Grenada to let them vet Dellums’ “report” on the airstrip for its strategic bombers the USSR was building there. And wasn’t she very close, and I mean very close, with Comrade Brother Maurice Bishop? Hey, why not the best, California?
In all honesty, I have ZERO sympathy or hope or even concern for Leftist-controlled American cities and their inhabitants. The small minority that disagrees with the polices in these cities are obligated to save themselves and get the hell out. LET these cities implode.
The surrounding areas should, of course, be prepared for the spillover of the lawlessness and chaos by being well-armed and making sure that they’ve elected leaders who will stand the gaff against the potential marauding hordes.
Only by self-destruction can this problem be solved. I don’t hold out hope that leadership from any of these tinderboxes will have a “Road to Damascus” moment and say in the midst of the smoldering ashes, “What have WE done?” There will be no questions; only the statement that the White Supremacist Imperialist Patriarchy was to blame.
So leave them in their little urban Commie laboratories and let them self-immolate. Just make sure the neighboring suburbs are armed and ready for the invasion of the Hun.
