Fake news had been spread that Gal Gadot would host the Museum of Tolerance screening. (She was not even there.) And that Hollywood celebrities would be there. (They were not.) The actual attendees were mostly Jewish and activist community figures.
The screening location was supposed to be kept private, but leftist community organizers got word of it and began organizing and planning online disruptions. Islamist supporters of Hamas soon joined in. But the various groups never agreed on an overall plan.

Some leftists and Islamists wanted JVP, a pro-terrorist front group that has provided cover for the pro-Hamas protests on account of claims by its members to be ‘Jewish’ to handle the protest to avoid accusations of antisemitism. But JVP never showed up.
Only one woman showed up who claimed to be Jewish and yelled obscenities at elderly people holding Israeli flags outside the Museum of Tolerance. It’s unknown if she was a member of the Jewish Voice for Peace (JVP) hate group which took part in the Hamas insurrection in Congress.
Local Jewish community members and small numbers of pro-Hamas leftists showed up outside the Museum of Tolerance at various points during the afternoon beginning at around 1 PM. There was no violence.
The Museum of Tolerance had been getting harassing and threatening phone calls throughout the previous day warning that going ahead with the screening would be “unsafe.” An FBI advance team showed up and there was a large LAPD presence.
In the evening, when the screening was set to go forward, separate groups of pro-terror leftists and a contingent of Muslim supporters of Hamas arrived brandishing ‘Palestinian’ terror flags.
This is when things got ugly.
Following standard Antifa tactics, the leftists illegally entered the area by the entrance of the Museum of Tolerance and began baiting the most older Jewish community members rallying outside with flags, instead of remaining across the street where the pro-terror Muslims were.
The Museum of Tolerance is located on a major street, Pico Blvd, in a Jewish area known as Pico-Robertson. There is plenty of Jewish foot traffic here with a major high school located directly next to the museum and a number of synagogues and Jewish study centers where teens go.
It did not take long before the pro-Hamas Muslims ran into local Jewish teens, some on the way to rally in front of the museum, others just walking around their neighborhood. Some of the teens who were carrying Israeli flags or driving cars with Israeli flags were attacked.
This footage was captured by the local ABC 7 chopper flying disruptively overhead and described as “clashes breaking out between two groups”.
This would not be how the media would describe violence after a KKK rally in a black neighborhood.
Rather than condemning the antisemitic rally, Mayor Karen Bass retweeted the ABC7 clip, adding, “we cannot allow current worldwide tension to devolve into this unacceptable violence in our city. This is a time of immense pain and distress for thousands of Angelenos.”
On the other side of the street, the pro-Hamas leftists continued to taunt and engage in confrontations with Jewish community members outside the Museum of Tolerance.
One of them claimed to be transgender and tried to bait them into making ‘transphobic’ remarks about him.
The pro-Hamas leftists constantly ran their phones, taping confrontations, and looking for clips they could use of Jewish community members losing their tempers, to post on social media. Anyone who responded was baited further.
Shmira, a Jewish neighborhood watch group, whose volunteers wore yellow safety vests, tried to keep the pro-Hamas leftists away from Jewish community members, but they did not always succeed.
As the Museum of Tolerance screening ended, police roped off the area, guests departed, and the Islamists were told to leave by the police. The leftists also left.
Media reports misleadingly continued to describe what happened as “clashes” between two groups of protesters.
Jew-hating hate groups had invaded a Jewish community, assaulted Jews, tried to disrupt a Holocaust museum’s screening of Hamas atrocities, and the media and Mayor Bass took a “both sides are bad” approach.
The media failed to report that J Town Action and Solidarity , the group planning to disrupt the Museum of Tolerance screening, expressed support for terrorism against Jews.
It failed to report that the pro-Hamas rallyers had been urged to “mask up” and told to “show up and shut shit down”. Other calls for violence were similarly not reported on.
The media failed to tell the truth. Elected officials failed to condemn Hamas supporters trying to shut down a screening of Hamas atrocities at a Holocaust museum. They failed to condemn hate groups invading a Jewish community and attacking Jews.
That pro-Hamas supporters were allowed to invade a Jewish community in Los Angeles and attack Jews within sight of the Museum of Tolerance exposes the utter failure of ‘tolerance’ and liberalism.
I warned yesterday that there was chatter that this was coming.

On hearing that a Holocaust museum would be screening evidence of Hamas atrocities, it tried to follow up on the work of the ‘kidnapping poster rippers’ by tweeting, “it would be a shame if folks happened to be congregating at the below address this Wednesday evening”.
The People’s City Council – Los Angeles, another leftist group, immediately smelled a Jewish conspiracy and suggested that violence would be involved. “They will paint every protest/disruption as ‘anti-semitic’. Gaza has been bombed for a month straight & the IDF is showing a propaganda film. There is a call for URGENT action. Confront injustice & genocidal fascists everywhere. You don’t have to make your protests “palatable.”
“People should be aware of risks when showing up to actions and can make their own decisions. We shouldn’t run our folks into danger. If people are passionate to show up and shut shit down, they should. Make sure to mask up. ‘No justice, no peace’ means that.”
