Love Jihad Hits India

The month of Ramadan, say the Muslims, is the holiest. During this month, Muslims practice peace. They fast during the daytime by abstaining from all food and drink and steer clear of evil deeds. But then there is Ayan Pathan, who has been arrested by Madhya Pradesh police in India for abducting a Hindu girl and continually raping her throughout the month of Ramadan.

The 24-year-old Pathan, who has been caught in Madhya Pradesh’s Guna district, had befriended a 23-year-old Hindu girl from the same area and convinced her to enter into a romantic relationship with him. But soon, he started to harass the girl for her property.

The victim recounts: “I have known him for a month or two. He stays in the neighborhood. Since then he has been assaulting, raping and torturing me for the property. I am fatherless and I stay with my mother in Guna. The accused said that he loved me, but later he began harassing me for my property.”

When the girl disagreed to surrender her property to him, he abducted her. During the abduction, he regularly raped her, hit her with a leather belt and iron instruments, and poured chilly flakes and salt on her bleeding wounds. He would also stuff her mouth with adhesive to preclude her from screaming.

While she was successful in escaping the captivity once, Pathan convinced her to stay back and then again brutally beat her. The girl managed to flee and reached the police station to file a complaint. Her mother asserts that Ayan trapped her daughter in the love affair only for her property, and demanded the strictest punishment for him.

The accused was arrested on Wednesday, April 17, and has been charged under various sections of the Indian Penal Code for rape, usage of obscene language, voluntarily causing pain, and the Excise Act, as he was caught while supplying alcohol illegally. Further investigations are underway, and the police said they may file more charges after the investigation.

Unfortunately, this is not the only case of crime by a Muslim on a Hindu girl in India. The country has come to a standstill after the news about Master of Computer Applications (MCA) student Neha Hiremath in Karnataka sent tremors across the length and breadth of India. The 23-year-old was a student at Bhoomaraddi College of Engineering and Technology (BVB) College in Hubballi, and was killed by Fayaz on Thursday, April 18, on her college campus. The jilted lover stabbed her seven or eight times with a sharp knife, killing her on the spot.

The victim’s father, Niranjan Hiremath, said, “He (Fayaz) was an old student and had proposed to my daughter, but she rejected his proposal. She did not like him, and she usually stayed away from all this…She refused him saying they both belonged to different caste and that she did not wish to have any relationship with him. Out of anger, he stabbed my daughter.”

The state of Karnataka is currently governed by the Congress party, which is noted for its blatant appeasement of Muslims. The irony here is that Niranjan Hiremath is a Congress corporator (councillor) and holds political power and influence in his region. Yet he still finds himself as the bereaved father of a love jihad victim. The accused have been arrested, and investigations are going on, but other members of the Congress party have outright denied the Love Jihad angle. “If this is not Love Jihad, then what is?” Hiremath asked; he also added that forced marital religious conversions have been spreading widely, and said, “For Love Jihad, they target girls of good families.”

On the other hand, Fayaz’s mother was seen sobbing in front of the media and is seeking forgiveness for her son. Fayaz was a college student but had dropped out of the course. His mother claimed that her son was depressed, as he had been sitting at home for the last year and a half. Again we see the parent of a Muslim offenders bringing up the idea of the mental illness of their children after those children commit blood-curdling crimes. This is not unheard of. There have been many similar cases in India and its environs, with boys from such families regularly targeting Hindu girls.

While the liberal, pro-Islam, woke cabal vehemently denies the existence of Love Jihad on Indian soil, the two cases reported above would compel one to believe otherwise.
