“It’s official,” writes Carl Horowitz, “Donald Trump is mentally foregone and must be removed from office. So claims an army of mental health specialists bent on saving the country from the once-again president and his supporters,” and this not a new development. “Ever since President Trump’s first term began, the professions of psychiatry, psychology, and social work have expressed a desire to cleanse the nation of Trump and his malign influence.”
Leading the charge is psychologist John Gartner, who contends that Trump suffers from malignant narcissistic personality disorder, hyper manic temperament, and dementia. The therapists’ pitchman George Conway, a lawyer and ex-husband of former Trump White House counselor Kellyanne Conway, has launched the Anti-Psychopath PAC to “make the case to voters that Donald Trump is a narcissist and a sociopath.” Gartner and Conway find an ally in psychiatry professor Brandy X. Lee.
She was the force behind The Dangerous Case of Donald Trump: 27 Psychiatrists and Mental Health Experts Assess a President, arguing that Trump’s mental illness could spread across America. An expanded edition appeared in 2024, just in time for the election, but failed to change the outcome. The psycho squad contends that Trump’s presidency could lead to totalitarianism, but Horowitz thinks their tactics could do the same.
“The mental state of such people is not normal,” said Soviet boss Nikita Khrushchev of those opposed to Communism. So the Soviets tossed dissenters into psychiatric hospitals and forced labor camps. Soviet-style white coat supremacy, as Paul Johnson explained in Modern Times, goes back to Sigmund Freud, the first to contend that those who opposed him were mentally ill. That fraud lives on in charges that critics of Islam suffer from “Islamophobia,” that those who call out gender ideology are “transphobic,” and so forth. The charge that Donald Trump is a sociopath comes apart from any formal examination of the president, and in classic style the psycho squad deploys the method selectively.
Joe Biden contended that he served as a liaison for Golda Meir during the Six Day War in 1967, hardly the only sign that the Delaware Democrat was delusional and dysfunctional. Often uncertain of his own location, Biden refused to take an independent cognitive test. Biden’s September 1, 2022 speech, backdropped in red, with Marines at the ready, clearly implied the threat of force against anyone who failed to support him. The psycho squad ignored Biden and consider his pick for Assistant Secretary for Health.
Admiral Rachel Levine, a man who thinks he’s a woman, demands that everybody conform to the obvious falsehood. Such reality dysphoria is on par with a mental patient who claims to be Joan of Arc, Napoleon or Elvis, but there’s more to it. Levine is a barker for irreversible medical procedures that can leave young people mutilated and sterile. These realities have not prompted the psycho squad to out Levine as a sociopath spreading misery across the country. Also escaping attention is cross-dressing luggage thief Sam Brinton and Audrey Hale, a woman who thought she was a man.
On March 27, 2023, in a carefully planned attack at the Covenant School in Nashville, Hale murdered three nine-year-old students and three adults. The psycho squad has not offered a theory of how reality dysphoria generates hatred and violence. On the other hand, shrinks have proved eager to absolve the worst killers of responsibility for the most horrific crimes – including cannibalism.
Earlier this year, the Connecticut Psychiatric Security Review Board (PSRB) granted conditional release to Tyree Smith, who in 2011 axed Angel Gonzalez to death then ate part of his brain and an eye. In 2012 judges deemed Smith not guilty by reason of insanity and sentenced him to 60 years in a maximum-security psychiatric facility.
According to forensic psychiatrist Dr. Caren Teitelbaum, Tyree Smith has “maintained clinical stability” and denied both “visual hallucinations and a desire to harm others or himself.” In hospital Smith was “a joy” and once stable “he is considered a support to the other people there” and “a really calming presence for other patients.” So Teitelbaum, assistant professor of psychiatry at the Yale School of Medicine, cancels the court’s 60-year sentence and frees an axe murderer and cannibal. As the people should know, this was not an isolated case.
In 2008 in Canada, Vince Weiguang Li stabbed to death fellow bus passenger Timothy McLean, cut off his head, and ate the victim’s entrails. Based on a psychiatrist’s diagnosis, the court found Li not responsible for the crime, and in 2017 he was discharged with no requirement to attend reviews. As Tim McLean’s mother said, her son was “still dead.”
South of the border, the president is the only official voted for by all the people. The psycho squad now pronounces President Trump a sociopath and extends the diagnosis to those who support him. To adopt a common phrase, the president and the people might tell Gartner, Conway, Lee et al to “go analyze yourself.”
Worms Rats, Lice, Cock Roaches and other vermin could never hold a candle when compared to the Dregs of Society called The Left
