On Friday evening, a Kennedy joined Trump on stage in Glendale, Arizona. The first major Trump rally after the DNC convention featured RFK Jr as an answer to the Republicans who had come out for Kamala at the showcase event for her political campaign. The Kamala campaign had enlisted a former Pence aide, Stephanie Grisham, a former discredited press secretary, and former Rep. Adam Kinzinger, while Trump brought out Camelot on stage. But what happened at the Desert Diamond Arena in Glendale went beyond a matchup of names.
Robert F. Kennedy Jr. was more than the heir to a storied last name and acronym, he was the most successful third party presidential candidate since Ross Perot took on Bush and Clinton. Earlier in the summer before the Biden coup, RFK Jr had been polling as high as 10% despite media coverage that veered between hostile contempt and determined disregard. And he had done it without Perot’s massive fortune or the media’s endless willingness to give the billionaire airtime in the eventually successful hopes of kneecapping Bush and aiding Bill Clinton.
While there were other third party candidates in the race, RFK Jr polled so well because he was seen by his supporters as representing a genuine alternative to the two-party system and whose idiosyncratic views were authentically his own in sharp contrast to candidates like Cornel West or Jill Stein who just represented even more left-wing versions of the Democratic Party ticket.
Prior to his endorsement of Trump, there had been talk of meetings between the Kennedy scion and both presidential campaigns, but in a compelling speech, RFK Jr laid out his reasons for breaking from the party so tied to his family and rejecting overtures from the Kamala campaign.
“Democracy,” RFK Jr said, had become “little more than a slogan ” for the Democratic Party. “In the name of saving democracy, a Democratic Party set itself to dismantle it,” he charged, describing constant legal battles by the DNC to keep him off and force him off state ballots.
Similar stories had been previously told by No Labels, a Democratic organization which had sought to field an alternative bipartisan ticket, and by Rep. Dean Philips: Biden’s actual primary opponent, as well as any Democrats or third party candidates who had challenged Biden.
RFK Jr then went on to describe a rigged “sham primary” for Biden followed by a “palace coup” for Kamala and the installation of a “candidate who was so unpopular with voters that she dropped out in 2020 without winning a single delegate” who “has not appeared in a single interview or an unscripted encounter with voters for 35 days. This is profoundly undemocratic.”
The former candidate compared the actions of the Democrats to that of Russian dictator Vladimir Putin in trying to keep him off the ballot and off the air with the media maintaining “a near-perfect embargo on interviews with me” and government agencies partnering with Big Tech firms to suppress him on social media in which a federal judge recently described as “the most egregious violation of the First Amendment in the history of the United States of America.”
The Biden-Harris campaign and now, post-coup, the Harris-Walz campaign, has argued that it is defending democracy and that its opponents, especially Trump, are threats to democracy.
“Are you ready to vote for democracy?” Biden began his remarks at the DNC. He warned of “clear and present threats to our very democracy”, claimed that “democracy has prevailed”, “democracy has delivered” and that “we came together in 2020 to save democracy” by presumably voting for him. Now, “democracy must be preserved” by voting for Kamala.
“We saved democracy in 2020, and now we must save it again in 2024,” Biden claimed at the DNC. “The vote each of us casts this year will determine whether democracy… will prevail.”
Democracy, to Biden and many Democrats, isn’t the act of voting, but voting the right way.
In his speech however RFK Jr laid out a different vision of democracy, not as outcome, but as process. To Biden, any process, no matter how undemocratic, that ends with him or his party winning, means that democracy has prevailed. RFK Jr however argued that a party that his family had long belonged to and even defined had abandoned the process of democracy.
Due to election rigging, “relentless, systematic censorship and media control”, RJK Jr argued that he could not compete, but he made an argument for a system where candidates could compete. That’s a democratic system rather than the current Democratic Party system.
When RFK Jr walked out onto the stage at the Desert Diamond Arena in the suburbs of Phoenix to endorse Trump, the media predictably ignored the event and smeared the former candidate, but he was standing for what he believed in: the core values of democracy, not Democrats.
The two visions of democracy have long been on a collision course as they are in every leftist system. Communist dictatorships from the Democratic People’s Republic of Korea (North Korea), Democratic Kampuchea, (Pol Pot’s genocidal dictatorship), and the people’s democratic dictatorship in Communist China called themselves democratic while being ruthlessly brutal.
That is the path that RFK Jr may well fear America’s own Democrat establishment is on.
The Harris-Walz campaign, even more than the Biden-Harris campaign, showed the country what a closed system that calls itself democratic looks like, while RFK Jr showed what an open system that offers more than a one way street should be like. In a country that is increasingly centralized, where decisions are made from the top down, open systems are disappearing.
RFK Jr is not saying anything that most Democratic Party insiders don’t already know is true.
“We went through a very open process, a very inclusive process. It was bottom-up, I don’t know if you know that. That’s what I’ve been told to say!” Gov. Gavin Newsom, a behind the scenes contender to replace Biden, joked with the Obama vets of Pod Save America, some of whom had played a role in the Biden coup. He then called Kamala’s takeover “30 minute convention.”
While Trump and RFK Jr have fundamental policy differences, each had to fight their way through a process that was anything but a “30 minute convention”. That is an open process.
By taking the road that he did, RFK Jr had made the decision to fight for what he described as the “core values” of democracy rather than democracy as “little more than a slogan.”
“I attended my first Democratic convention at the age of six in 1960,” RFK Jr began his speech ending his pursuit of the presidency. On Friday, he attended his first Republican rally.
The Democrats define “the Democracy” as the Party. They execute that definition in policies that are like the Communist Party of the Soviet Union in its use of the word people. For example, in the right of Soviet people to use the streets to demonstrate, which was in the constitution, there was no freedom. It was the Party that organized the use of the street.
The left is trying to redefine our democratic republic out of existence. They loathe our constitution and all of the rights it defends and want to replace it with a dictatorship. Maybe they will call their new totalitarian nightmare “democracy”. Any word the left latches onto is on its way to obliteration
Th left feels entitled to power, after all, it took many years to destroy our schools so that children can barely read or write. In their warped, evil minds, they own America and can bastardize the definitions of words any time they want.
We are on the precipice of a civil war.
Some argue that this really started with Woodrow Wilson.
In terms of elected leaders who lied about who they are to get elected, yes, but it really started with Marx. The history of the West is a footnote to the advent of Marxism — a political religion that made lying and ruthlessness virtues. And a religion that is hell bent on destroying goodness and faith in God on Earth.
Some forget that Hitler was a Marxist before he became the god of Nazism. When people started believing that the end justifies the means Pandora’s Box of Evil proliferated. Now we have to face the culmination of human weakness, stupidity, arrogance, and folly.
Where this started is important because it explains how greed kept us distracted from right action necessary to stop it. Promises of wealth will fool many. The promises are now quite watered down. Now it’s free health insurance, or free college…something for nothing…but that isn’t wealth and it seldom produces the results promised. Free stuff is not valued like earned achievements that lead to prosperity so true prosperity begins to die and so does capitalism and freedom. The left gets a two for one with one dishonest trick that cartoons used to expose.
Evil is, by nature, progressive, so when someone, like Wilson, self-identifies as a Progressive he is also admitting that he will act in accordance with the foundational law of evil: the end justifies the means. And by their admissions we must then recognize them as people dedicated to the evil they proudly admit and make sure they are never elected or gain any power.
Marx didn’t actually invent or create anything.
What he did was put the entire package together into one central theme of “Marxism” and that’s what’s made it into the religion it is today.

Trump and his political advisors often seem not to recognize or understand the life and death struggle that has now enveloped the USA.
If Trump and the GOP fail to recognize and dramatically and publicly assert that Mexico is the enemy of America, then their credibility and seriousness about regarding winning this fight is questionable.
Mexico and the Mexican government are directly responsible and complicit for the invasion of as many as 20 million illegal aliens across the Mexican border into the USA.
Mexico and the Mexican government are also directly responsible and complicit for the murder of 100,000 US citizens every year with Mexican manufactured fentanyl/drugs pushed into the USA across the Mexican border. The fact that China is supplying the raw materials for the drugs does not let Mexico and the Mexican government off the hook for responsibility.

China is using Mexico to create a gateway/highway for a South American army that can join the attack on this country. If Trump and Kennedy can make this work, we could be witnessing the birth of a true inclusive populism that will make big bureaucracies everywhere (WEF, UN, EU, etc.) shiver. Maybe trivia here, maybe not: but RFK Jr.—in David Horowitz’s (yes) and Peter Collier’s 1984 book THE KENNEDYS—was quite obviously a babe magnet. David Kennedy told the authors that he and his brother (RFK Jr.) met actress Rachel Ward (the femme fatale in AGAINST ALL ODDS) at a club and were both amazed when she left with David, because it was usually RFK Jr. who slayed the women.
Well, that was then and this is now…but weeks back I heard the twenty-something wife of someone attached to Turning Point USA say on Charlie Kirk’s podcast that she and her girlfriends liked RFK Jr. because (she said), “He’s hot!” Crackly voice and all. Women famously are the most inclined to vote against Trump. Could RFK Jr. prove something of a counter balance?
A book could be written about women and the vote and the effects of propaganda on women as compared to men…but it will not be written because it would be politically incorrect not to mention embarrassing.
I make the following observations as a woman and non-leftist..
Women seem to be more likely to be leftwing, to fear the social isolation that can occur when one is not leftwing, and seem far more susceptible to illogical emotion-based political messages (global warming, no, wait, it’s climate change, is just one example). However, plenty of women support Trump. And, my dear, Trump is a very handsome man despite his 78 years. And there is a lot that is very appealing in his strength. courage, and humanity.

Chris Rock frequented a New York City club where Trump was a regular and Rock said the women there loved Trump (as Rock related in “Rolling Stone Magazine”). Howard Stern has talked of being in public with Trump, where the women went crazy for him. Trump appealed to lots of people….who turned on him once he ran for president!! I’m partly thinking of the women in that latter group..

The speech RFK gave to supporters prior to the rally was exceptional. Among other things, he described the corrupt power-hungry undemocratic system with clarity and first-hand experience.
His support of Trump and this recent alliance is most welcome. Kennedy recently shared that he has the impression that Trump is going to be annoucing other Dems who are endorsing him in the coming days and who will join the campaign.
We have just a few weeks left to get this done and need all hands on deck. Any and all sane people, irrespective of current or prior party, are welcome with open arms. We’re in the 11th hour of the 11th hour and each of us must do everything we can to increase the chances of winning this fall – donate, volunteer, register people to vote, make sure everyone you know is voting, brainstorm folks you know in swing states and light a fire under them, etc. This year, it’s not good enough to just vote. That’s a bare minimum. None of us can sit back and hope/expect someone else to do the heavy liftig. We must win.
Least not forget that the republican establishment, (aka, never-Trumpers) are also perturbed by the notion of a member of the prominent Kennedy family throwing his support behind Trump.
Trump has taken over their party and they don’t like it and want things to go back to the way they were before Trump and the MAGA movement. Trump has even widen the republican party base and they don’t like that either.
It’s why so many never-Trump RINOs were seen in attendance at the DNC convention. Both party establishments are jointly plotting against Trump and I strongly suspect that they will try a 2nd assassination attempt.

My loyalty is to my country, not a political party. It’s why I quit the republican party and became an independent. What’s good for my country and the American people matters more to me than what’s good for a political party.

Our children need to be living in an environment of stability, not getting transgender ideology, and surgeries pushed on them…RFK would really serve his country well if he were to take on these issues. RFK Jr. in his campaign suspension speech showed an all-too-rare mastery of the Washington infrastructure of corroded and co-opted alphabet soup agencies and the intruding mega-corporate world, especially related to the chronic child disease epidemic. With Trump’s backing and a win in November, a new level of cross-committee-chamber unity could come to Capitol Hill.
My question for the Dems is how do you save democracy by rigging elections? I’ve had four years of doubts about the 2020 election, all of which were met with a “nothing to see here” response from the MSM. Those who challenged this narrative have been dismissed, discredited, if not politically and financially destroyed. Not exactly my idea of saving democracy. But there is more. Kackles Kamala never won a single delegate in any presidential primary, yet she is the godess candidate of the left.
Let’s take a trip down memory lane, to her days as San Francisco’s District Attorney. Her predecessor, Terence Hallinan, was actively persuing serious allegations against the Archdiocese of SF for child abuse by the clergy. According to SNAP (Survivor’s Network of those Abused by Priests), Hallinan had literally boxes of affidavits from victims. He lost to Harris, and Harris, when contacted by SNAP, promised to continue the investigation. And she did nothing. Well, she won her job through the support of Mayor Willie Brown (by supporting his brown willie, so they say), and the Archdiocese was a powerful influence over the mayor’s office. The rest is history. Not exactly a principled leader.

Because we agree on some issues. We can’t absolve RFK jr. for his lefty utopian ideology. After all he still a Kennedy. Remember JFK is the one who gave federal workers the right to unionize. Which is the foundation of today’s deep state. Regardless, Trump needs the biggest coalition he can assemble. to heal all the wounds Hussein/Biden have created. RFK jr. and others must be part of the healing.
