Every federal agency has its own ‘civil rights’ or ‘equity’ office these days, usually more than one, that exists to employ radical activists and poison the organization with DEI while being wielded against any kind of dissent inside and outside the organization.
So it’s a good thing that 75% of the IRS Office of Civil Rights and Compliance is being cut.
The IRS does not need a civil rights office. Nor does any other branch of the government. The civil rights abuses by the IRS are rarely ‘discriminatory’ in the sense that they target people for their race, and while the IRS would benefit from general oversight over abuses, it’s a government bureaucracy, not Alabama in the 1950s, and if there is to be oversight, it needs to come from outside the agency, not from inside it.
The same is true for other federal agencies.
The IRS needs a Civil Rights office so they can more completely violate the Civil Rights of the American people. Lois Lerner could lead it.
The R’s need to address those “Statutes of Limitations” like the DEMOcrats do when it’s in their interest!
Eradicating all of it would be great. IRS DEI CIA and everything that exists to create a Marxist society.
And keep up your great work…
I’m broke or I’d contribute. My world is being destroyed by the debit card mentality. I have coin operated vending machines. 34 years of service coming to an end.
Vending machines now take credit cards – just don’t let it take crypto – is there a crypto debit cards? I dunno – I’ll never get one – I understand Ai but not cyrpto – our USD is manipulated enough – lower the interest rates already
So why should there be a Civil Rights with the Internal Robbery Service in the first place?
the solution is to have a minimally invasive constitutional free market – local govt. that encourages competition, innovation & meritocracy, not an unelected, unaccountable, inefficient, bloated, incompetent, corrupt, bureaucratic political nightmare, new world order, fascist/commie federal, big brother nanny state micromanaging the serfs for total control…
Tax feeders do not care about “civil rights”. It’s just another distraction.
Civil Rights offices are simply another means to advance the causes and careers of leftist no-loads within federal agencies. Take this from a guy who put in 33 years with the Department of Defense.
The IRS needs a DEI office like a fish needs a bicycle.
Thank you Donald Trump and Elon Musk for getting rid of the bicycles.
I find it highly offensive that 75% of the IRS Civil Rights Office has been eliminated (have the 677 “judges” agreed?)!! WHY NOT 100% of them???
So many people are just beside themselves at all the Fed EE’s being fired. I was surprised to discover that President CIGAR actually culled over 300,000!!!
The DEMOcrats have used Fed jobs as “Early Retirement” for their lackeys – it’s ending!
“So it’s a good thing that 75% of the IRS Office of Civil Rights and Compliance is being cut.” First, any cut less than 100% is the SAME as a cut of 0%. Allowing a “civil rights office” to exist AT ALL is tacit approval of the office’s legitimacy. Second, they’ll just change the names and titles of the offices and staff and it will roll on almost unhindered.
And America doesn’t need the IRS, and it wouldn’t exist if America’s government were biblical!
Had the constitutional framers (like their early 1600 predecessors) established government and society upon the Bible’ immutable/unchanging moral law (including its economic and taxing statutes), there would be no Federal Reserve, nor its mistress today’s usurious fiat banking system, nor its enforcement arm the Internal Revenue Service.
There would, furthermore, be no graduated income tax, no property tax, no sales tax, nor any of the other sundry unbiblical taxes.
