Well, I decided awhile back to never fly again if I could avoid it and now it’s more like a vow. I don’t want to depend on an air traffic controller with mental and/or emotional issues, a low IQ or is epileptic(!) I’m not sure I’d trust a guy in a dress and eyeliner, either. He might kiss his display screen and obscure it with lipstick and get mascara smudged on his binoculars. I don’t mind dwarfs as air traffic controllers but I don’t want them to be prioritized over somebody with more aptitude, training and experience. Besides, what if he or more likely she, were to fall off his/her booster seat right in the middle of a critical landing juncture?
When President Trump said those people were priority DEI hires, he told the truth!
Fuck it. I’ll drive from now on. I don’t care if it’s all the way from here in San Jose CA to Key West FL. At least I could have a scenic road trip and see the country out of my car window from ground level instead of from an airliner window as it careens into the Earth or six feet of water in the Potomac River, also known by the charming names of the Great Disaster River and the Cursed River. Fuck that shit.
